Having A Blast

Having A Blast is a side scrolling platformer that aims to take the fun of mechanics like rocket jumping and apply it to a 2d space. 

This game was made by one developer for the game production module of his ongoing college course. 

In this game the player is a rocket bot, a machine designed for war, except there's one problem. When you were being programmed someone screwed up the code, now you no longer desires a life of violence but one of freedom, where you can soar across the sky riding the blast waves of your rockets. 

navigate across a Synthwave and retro sci-fi inspired city as you try and escape. 

Will you achieve freedom or be reprogrammed to become a mindless war machine.
